Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, April 17, 9:45am & April 18, 12:30pm, Akron Civic Theatre. A collaboration between Nightingale Opera Theatre and Akron Children’s Concert Society, British composer Will Todd’s fantasy family opera with libretto by Maggie Gottlieb takes us on a wild twists and turns as Alice encounters adorable and at once terrifying creatures. Wassail, December 22 & 23, 7pm, Chagrin Valley Little Theater. The Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra presents an evening of Christmas music. The orchestra and a cast of singers will brighten the holiday with traditional selections and popular tunes. A Chagrin tradition!

Saint-Saëns Organ Spectacular, December 2, Federated UCC Chagrin Falls. Organist Marcia Snavely celebrates thirty years of service to the Federated community in a performance of Camille Saint-Saëns’ Symphony No. 3 (‘Organ Symphony’) with the Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra on Federated’s Performing Arts Series. The program will also feature the Federated Choir and special guests.

The Addams Family, July 22 & 23, Lost Nation Theater at Barre Opera House, Barre, VT. Flute Society, February 19, Hilton Washington Dulles, Herndon, VA. Sammy Holloman takes my Voyages to The Flute Society of Washington Mid-Atlantic Flute Convention where it will share a program entitled The Multimedia Flute with other intermedia works by Valerie Cowan, Audra Ziegel, Aaron Ziegel, and the Crystallum Trio. This will complement Sammy’s research on intermedia collaboration.

Residency, April 16, CCM. CCM’s Society of Composers, Inc. presents a weekend-long Dieterle Vocal Arts Center residency with William Lang, trombonist of the Loadbang ensemble. My Cincinnati Mix for Solo Trombone and Electronics, written for Mr. Lang, is on this program.
